Does anyone know of a good doc comparing EVA3000 overall performance to a VA7410
What would I expect to see if anything performance wise by going to a 3000 or would I need to go to a EVA4000

The VA7410 is about 77% of the performance of the EVA3000, according to an internal doc I have here. Of course I can't post it,
and your mileage may vary.

The EVA doesn't have the overhead of the AutoRAID, so that, coupled with faster CPUs makes it quite a bit faster.

Now, that said, go with the EVA4000 - the EVA3000 is getting ready for EOL, and the EVA4000 has even faster processors, among other improvements.
