Use ORCA, Online Raid Configuration Utility. Just hit F8 after the Smart Array msg, then configure the drives.

I will be setting up a proliant dl 380 g4 server with Red Hat linux enterprise edition soon and the vendor is requiring raid 10. The box will eventually have 6 36.4 ultra 320 drives installed. Has anyone done this? What should I look out for?

You can boot from the SmartStart CD. There should be an entry to "maintain the server". If I recall correctly, the next page has an entry to start the Array Configuration Utility (ACU). From there you can easily set up a 6-disk RAID10.

Hi

When the server comes up you need to Hit F8 and you will be taken to the Array configuration menu where the array can be configured.

Rgds

HGN
