Have a Proliant ML370/w2k3sp1 w/ a 641 array controller. The HD was replaced under warranty. All drive lights are green. However on reboot get a POST ERROR: 1786-Drive Array Recovery NEeded. The ACU shows "Ready for Rebuild." ADU shows about the same. Have attached the ADU report. Applied latest drivers/firmware with no resolution. The server is located where there is currently no phone, so am posting this.
Thanks.
Lee

Hi,

As per the ADU data, the disk (SCSI Port 1, Drive ID 0) is giving read error. The same drive is supposed to be included in the logical drive 1 but failed. Thats why you see the POST message & ACU shows '"Ready for Rebuild".

You need to log a h/w call to HP, provide them all this data & get it replaced.
