Hi Hasan

You need to keyin only the WWN and the checksum value pasted in the Rack .
Then the controller will start binding by itself .

Hi,
I want to install an EVA 4000 for myself.
I want to enter its WWN.Should I enter twice (for each of controller) or just one time in one of the controllers? What about password?

It is only entered on one controller - after you confirmed the checksum, both controllers receive the WWN and you can initialize from CV-EVA.

I don't use passwords in environments where everything is controlled by the same group, because there are some maintenance functions the require the removal, so why bother?

Thank you,
Now, my Commandview cannot find the EVA.
I have just one SAN switch,my management server has just one HBA. I connect 4 EVA's connection to this SAN switch, I connect to CV but it cannot detect the EVA. I try some more times with discover button but nothing happened.

The adapter need to have access to both controllers, because CV-EVA talks to the master controller and the role can change.

Can you rule out a zoning error in the FC switch?
