Some information is in the Quickspecs - more detailled information is in the 'connectivity guides/release notes' which you can download from the documentation page:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DocumentIndex.jsp?contentType=SupportManual&locale=en_US&docIndexId=179166&taskId=101&prodTypeId=12169&prodSeriesId=470462

thank you for the links, although they are not exactly what I searched for.
We want to connect an IBM x346 Server (with Win2003 OS) to our EVA and I'm searching for information what HBAs with what driver and firmware versions are supported to connect to EVA Storage.

Hi Bernd,

I think you find the info you need in this pdf. Here you find an overview of the supported HBA on W2K3.

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c00371210/c00371210.pdf

There is no single doc. You will also find conflicting docs which you need to check very carefully. The XL do not support more than 3 host ports connected to brocade 3200, 3800, and some 3850 switches due to firmware issues not getting fixed. I have 6 of these switches and discovered this after pacing my 8k order.
