MSA 1500cs work with OS Solaris

I need to attach MSA 1500cs to server with OS Solaris and to server with OS Windows 2k3. Is it possible ?

as far as i can see solaris is not supported by msa 1500cs. windows is ok.

But in practic ?

I can configure MSA by ACU from Win2k3 server and then attach second Solaris server.

No need to instal software on Solaris server...

Where I am wrong ?

In practice you may find it works (or appears too), but if anything horrible were to happen you'd be on your own. I doubt HP would give you much help if you broke the configuration guidelines/rules.

This may be catered for in a future F/W update ?
