Incorrect LUN IDs in /kernel/drv/swsp.conf

On a Solaris 8 platform I'm getting an error report when adding or deleting LUN IDs using Secure Path spmgr. It appears that a series of IDs in swsp.conf does not match the LUN IDs in the device mappings as reported by spmgr. Any idea what the solution to this is? Is it safe to edit swsp.conf with the IDs displayed by spmgr?

Clive,

Yes you can edit/modify swap config file, but you can do this using spmgr easily.

thanks for the reply but I'm slightly puzzled as to how to do this with spmgr. The following entries appear in swsp.conf that are not displayed by spmgr -

wwlid-0-0="6005-08B4-0010-3E0B-0000-A000-0275-0000@0,0";
wwlid-0-1="6005-08B4-0010-3E0B-0000-A000-027B-0000@0,1";
wwlid-0-2="6005-08B4-0010-3E0B-0000-A000-027E-0000@0,2";
wwlid-0-3="6005-08B4-0010-3E0B-0000-A000-0281-0000@0,3";
wwlid-0-4="6005-08B4-0010-3E0B-0000-A000-0284-0000@0,4";

spmgr displays a different list of entries of the form -

6005-08B4-0010-3E0B-0000-B000-xxxx-0000

Do I simply add the existing ones in again and delete the non-existant ones using spmgr?
