does anyone know if there are any documents on the HP website, or does anyone have a document, that shows how to connect up at VA7100 disk array with one DS2405 enclosure to HP L class

John,

I don't know if it is a problem my end, but I just did a search for connecting va7100 and cannot view any of the results.
I have not used the 7100, but have used the 7400. This had 2 controllers, with fibre coming out of both direct into the san or in your case the back of the L class.
Without being able to look anything else up, I apologise that I cannot help much at this point.

Cheers anyway, im pretty sure the VA7100 is just a cut down version of the VA7400
