ACU Fails to Initialize with code 0x0000005

Version 7.40.8.0
Server: DL380 G4
Array: single 1+0 (slots 0 and 1)
OS: Windows 2000

Error message:
cpqacuxe.exe failed to initialize properly (0x0000005). Press OK to continue.

This is a fatal error that will not allow the ACU utility to operate.

Any suggestions on possible causes or remedies would be appreciated.

First thing I would try is the latest version of ACU.

Hi -

I can't upgrade the ACU. This is a fixed image that will not be supported by internal resources if it is upgraded. Do you know the error code by any chance?
