I have RA4100 connected direct to 176479-B21, but the update from here: http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/files/storage/us/download/13161.html
does not see the controller

Seems that using old card 241322-001 does do the trick.

I wonder what other cards might work with this array.

Thanks Seb for the lead...it took me a while to find the firmware upgrade which it also happens is included in the array rom on Smartstart v 5.50
