Hello,
We do have an SQL timeout issues(see attached file) with our Itanium platform connected to an HP EVA 5000. Even when we do an intense copy on the EVA, we can observe a timeout.
We did use differents emulex divers, the last one is 6.1.11a3.
Our VCS version is 3.028 and our securepath version is 4.0c SP2-5.
We are in an MSCS cluster and the all the disks are on the same VD (so we have 1 group cluster) and SQL2005 SP1.

Thank you for your help here

François

Hi,

From my point of view, there's no reason for this to come from a storage issue.
Did you try asking on Windows or SQL forum?

Hello,

I just did post the same question to the SQL Forum.
It seems that having all the disk on the same VD is not recommended, so we are pushing the investigations this way ....

Thank you for your help
