      <description>HDD means Hard disk. Check the enclosure for amber light. Also you can see from the management software.</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;The disk is still operational but is running in a "degraded" state as it is only accessible on one of the two loops. I usually ungroup the disk and ask HP to send a new one. Leave the "faulty" one in place until the new one arrives &amp;amp; then swap them over. Go back into command view and add the new disk back into the appropriate disk group &amp;amp; leave to level.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;HTH&lt;BR /&gt;Ian&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
