<title>topic Error Reporting in Disk Enclosures</title>
    <link>https://community.hpe.com/t5/disk-enclosures/error-reporting/m-p/2543102#M2109</link>
<description>We are running some Compaq Proliant Servers -different models- most with Smart Array 431 Controllers under Linux (suse 7.2 with kernel 2.4.x) with raid 5 or raid 1 configurations. I'm looking for a solution, that when a hard disk fails the admins get an email and/or an entry in the syslog is generated. (Like the tools for the ICP controllers....). &lt;BR /&gt;Anybody can help??? &lt;BR /&gt;Micha</description>
