HORCM Instance is not getting started.

Hi

I have a XP512 storage & two no of HP-UX 11.11 servers connected with it. The two servers SRV_PRD [Production] & SRV_BCV [BCV]. I want to configure pair of luns between prd & bcv using raid manager. I have configured /etc/services with the entry for horcm daemon, & configured /etc/horcm$$.conf file with appropriate entry in both the BCV & PRD servers. After that I tried to start the horcm instance in both the servers. In prod server it started successfully but in BCV it failed. In the horcm log i am getting a error message in BCV server like follows.
15:11:50-2b918-26931- ERROR:horcm_cfg_create
15:11:55-35a24-26930- horcmgr:Failed to connect to HORCM.

Where as when i am trying to start a dummy instance it is starting perfectly.
Is there anybody who faced similar problems.

Make sure you have amended /etc/services on both hosts
Make sure you have the hosts correctly identifyed in the horcm instance files
make sure you have the correct command device file name in the files

when you start up the instances make sure you have variables HORCC_MRCF and HORCMINST set

Thanks. But all these things are taken care properly. As i told the daemon is starting in the Production server & dummy instance is starting in the BCV server. But the real daemon in BCV server is giving trouble.
