topic HP MSA500 Problem in Disk Enclosures

Hello every one. I've a MSA500 with 4x72Gb RAID 0+1, and 6x300Gb RAID 5 connected to a Proliant DL380 through a Smart Array Controler 642. The problem is that the disks from the 6x300Gb RAID 5 are always busy, like when the array performance is being optimized in background by the array controler the first time. This happens since the begin in March when they have been instaled. Can any one help me ? Thank you in advance for your help.

Jeff,

Thank you for your help. I've only one doubt, is this valid for the MSA500 and why doesn't this happens with the disks from the 4x72Gb RAID 0+1 ?
Thanks again.

Luis
