topic MSA1000 power supply question in Disk Enclosures

I'm wondering if the MSA controllers are connected to the power supplies directly. If one power supply fails does that bring down the path to one controller? I thought that they were completely independent (as long as one power supply is functioning both controllers will function) but I'm seeing some behavior that might indicate otherwise.

Thanks,
Colin

As far as I can remember, the MSA should function OK on 1 power supply and the failure of one should not effect the paths to the storage.

They don't affect the controllers in the same way the embedded switches do, they are independent.
