Array Accelerator Replacement

Recently we've been getting the error below:
SLOT 0 Smart Array 5i Controller ERROR REPORT:

Array accelerator status:
Permanently disabled
Warranty alert
Array accelerator parity write errors: 1

I notifed HP, however they said they do not know what piece they need to bring for the replacement . I suspect they need to replace the whole controller. Is that so?

ROM update on the 5i card before planning a replacement incase its not done yet?

Updated firmware to v2.68, same error.
