Hello,

i want to use a va7410 disk array under windows. With a Q-Logic FibreChannel Card i got a connection an windows is asking for a Device Driver for the Disk Controller (A6218A). Now i searched for any Driver but only found the Software Command View SDM. I would be grateful if anyone here could help me.

unfortunately the link that you had written is only for the Q-Logic HBA's not for the "A6218A SCSI Array Device" i was searching. Hope there is somewhere a driver that fits.

Hi,

Your hostmode is probably not Windows but Hp-UX?
Changing it to win2000 should solve this.
But beware if you have hp-ux servers connected to this VA, then you should create a host-table first before changing hostmode.

Hello thank you for your help. After assigning it to Windows and format the hole device i was able to connect over sdm create luns and use it under Windows.
