Can anybody tell me where I can down load latest verion of command view SDM for VA7100 and firmware for supporting RAID 5DP

Hi;

The latest release of CommandView is 1.0; The latest firmware is HP02.

If you don't have these, you can talk to your HP Sales Rep, and have him get it for you from one of the TC's. There is no place to download it from www.hp.com.

The firmware for RAID 5DP has not yet been released.

My 7100 is installed with firmware HP02 and command view release 1.0. But HP document says
command view and firmware has to be upgraded to get autoraid funcionality.

when new release is expected, any idea??

I think in september new FW for va7400 and va7100 FW has been delayed for consider va7400 as high priority. I'm not sure but I think from september to end of the year, new release on va7100 will be delivered.

My HP folks have indicated that the new f/w for 7100/7400 has been released. All new VA's are shipping with the new code. And yes, it includes RAID 5 in addition to RAID 0+1. I'm not sure yet whether or not there is any "AutoRAID" functionality.
