Hi James,

It sounds like you need to use diskpart. Details are here:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/325590

Hope this helps,

Regards,

Rob

I have a ProLiant ML350 G4 running server 2003 with 4 drives in RAID 5.

The 4th drive in the array was recently added to provide more space. I have completed expansion of the logical drives using the array configuration utility.

I now need to expand the partitions for each logical drive in order to utilize the newly created unallocated space.

I have found out that it is not possible to use disk management to expand partitions on logical drives within a RAID 5 array.

Are there any other possible solutions, which avoid destruction of data and if possible can be used whilst the server is active?
