hi

its a 256MB controller without memory pack.

just found the problem. disabled volume shadow copy, and copying to the server is now flying again !

shame bout this function, but it could never compete with good old novell "salvage".

Hello

I've installed Win 2003 R2 with a Smart Array P400 controller.

I cannot change the Controller Cache Ratio. Its been set to 100%Read and 0% Write.

As a result, reading data from server is very fast. Writing very slow.

I've tried upgrading to the latest Array Configuration Utility. but no luck.

Greetings

filip

Hi Filip,

Please confirm if there is a BBWC(Battery backed Write Cache) without this installed the Write Caching can not be enabled. Also if the batteries have failed the above feature will not work.

Let me know if any updates.
