https://community.hpe.com/t5/disk-enclosures/smart-array-5i/m-p/4000061#M23819 I have a DL380 server with 6 72 GB disks configured as: first 2 for system and they are mirrored. the other 4 are in raid 5. now i had a problem where suddenly my partitions does not show anymore and I have in the smart array unused space. to restore my server I have removed the whole 4 disks, installed new disks and started restore on those new disks. <BR /><BR />Now on a different server with only 2 disks mirrored I have added the 4 disks and tried to work the solution. Now i see in my smart array: unassigned space on all four disks.
