Hi,

Yes it can. You no longer need SecurePath.

If you're using VCS3.xxx then you need to use v1.01. If you're using VCS4.xxx then you need to use v2.00. Both are available here:

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareIndex.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=421494&prodTypeId=18964&prodSeriesId=421492&swLang=8&taskId=135&swEnvOID=226

Cheers,

Rob

P.S.
Hi Rob,

Adding my query to Wee Meng's question. What if the server is connected to both EVA5k and EVA8k? Can I use MPIO v1.01 for both?

Though a totally separate question, I will reply here.

No. EVA 4/6/8 only supports Full Featued MPIO (v2.x)

EVA 3/5k support Basic and Full depending on VCS code running on the array. If you are at 3.xxx, then no. You need to run Secure Path for your EVA3/5k and MPIO FF for your EVA4/6/8k. Basic and Full featured MPIO can not co-exist.

Mpio 1.01 is the basic version for EVA3/5k runnign VCS 3.xxx

Steven
