How can I make the batteries tested in the EVA's controllers?
The batteries tested should make the administrator or HP engineer?

Hi,

the controllers firmware will test the batteries and alarm you if needed.

Hi,

I'm not sure that there's any way of testing the batteries other than installing them into an EVA and checking that yellow light goes out. (I'm assuming EVA3/5000 here).

Batteries can be replaced yourself. Just make sure you follow the relevant instructions - ie for an EVA3/5000 make sure swap batteries with the controllers powered on otherwise the faulty status of the old battery may be propogated to the new battery making it useless.

Hi,
No user intervention possible for you to check the batteries - it is a function of the ctrls themseleves.
3/5K= 1 cell tested every 30 days [3 cells per battery brick] all cells tested in 6mths then it starts again. No indications on OCP readout or from cmd vw but you will notice if they fail!! As above remove BOTH batteries before installing the new ones. Do online - no need to power off ctrl.
4/6/8K = 1 cell tested every 12hrs [3 cells per battery brick] 1 battery for 4/6K 2 batteries for 8K. All tested in 36 or 72 hours, repeat every 30 days. If a battery fails you only to replace the failed one, in the case of an 8K. Nothing on OCP readout if battery fails.
ALL = amber/red LED on batteries and on 3/5k LED battery indicator. 8K 1 battery fails, amber fault LED on battery but does not show on OCP battery LED!
