Adding extra disks to a configuration

We added 2 extra disk to an array. we receive now two logical views. how can we get 1 logical view containing all disks and using for all disk raid5 whithout re-installing the server?

What Array Controller are you using, and what process did you use to add the drives to the existing configuration ?

Hello,

we have a smart array 641.
using the ACU program, the system gives us back 2 logical drives

OK. You should probably delete the newly created logical drive, and then use the ACU to add the new physical drives to the existing logical drive...

Its for a 6402 rather than a 641, but the process should be similar...

we have ACU version 7.60, expand is not available to us, it is quit different , the only thing we can do is to create logical drive, that is what we did, he generates a second logical drive
