Shutdown the XP128

Hi Friends,

I have XP128 storage in my office.
we plan to shutdown it for maintenance at server room in next week after 1 and 1/2 years.So can you please explain me what are the necessary precaution that I need to get before going for shutdown XP128 ? and how it do that? ( How to get configuration information backup?, etc...)

and what is the procedure to shutdown and restart the XP128 ?

The really important information from the link above is:

"the power down of the disk array must be scheduled with a trained HP support representative.

CAUTION: Only trained HP representatives can shutdown and power-off a disk array. Shutting down and powering off a disk array is not a customer activity. A user should not attempt to power down the disk array at any time other than an emergency. "

Call HP, schedule the downtime.

Yes,

I know that. I am represent here for HP Support Eng and doing admin for RX servers, At that moment HP engineer who allocated to this XP128 will come or guide me to do that.

Anyway It will be easy if I have some document regarding shutdown XP128 ( not a emergency shutdown)

it's in the owner's guide but it mentioned that it should be done with hp engineer onsite.
