    <description>Greetings all,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I'm trying to upgrade current 72GB hdd with 146GB on my Proliant DL580 G2. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Can i replace one hdd at time? Can the RAID rebuilt the new hdd with a different capacity?</description>

      <description>Yes, you can add a 146 GB disk to a RAID that has 72 GB disks, but only 72 Gb will be used. &lt;BR /&gt;If you replace the disks one by one and wait until RAID rebuilds each time, you'll end up with a RAID with 146 GB disks, and a logical unit that occupies half the space. Then you can make that logical unit bigger or create a new one.</description>
