Validation failed - host state is not NORMAL

The business copy cannot be started, it is failed at the state of host validation. When I checked the enabled host, the state of the host become '?'. I deleted the host and re-add again, even though the hostname can be resolved successfully by RSM server, but the state is still '?'. But if I add the host by using the IP address, it works.

Here another problem comes, since my enabled host now is an IP address, i have changed my script to match it also. But my business copy is still failed when it comes to the state of launching the pre.bat script in the host. The error returned is task launch failed.

Can anyone advice?

Are you using Emulex or Qlogic HBAs?
