Hi all,

Wondering if anyone can tell me if 300GB U320 drives are supported on the 641 (in a ML350 G3) and if so what pre-req's are needed ie firmware versions.

Cheers
Hi Nigel,

Yes they are supported. See the QuickSpecs here:

http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/12067_div/12067_div.html#Compatibility

If the firmware on a drive is too low, you usually get a warning when the SmartArray starts up...

Hope this helps,

Regards,

Rob
