i have msa1500cs connected with msa30 by scsi cables. when i switch system on and during the initialization process, it gives the following error message"30 I2c read failure EMU" this system is new and also i can not navigate through arrows, it seems lcd stucked. what is the problem ??is that means EMU module need to be replaced or the upgrade kight be solve the problem??

Hi, try to first flash the firmware MSA30 disk enclosure firmware included. If the firmware upgrade is successfull, we will see if it reoccurs

how can i uppgrade msa30?? and which cable should i use to connect my laptop to EMU port ? and where i can find the procedure for upgrading the msa30 firmware?. i noticed that EMU accepts normal RJ45 connector not like MSA1500 cs controller which uses RJ45Z, so i need to know is it requires cross cable or special cable ???

use the firmware flash utility, it usualy upgrades all needed firmware also on the attached disk enclosures
