I am looking to build an internal RAC environment for performance validation and am considering 2 DL585G2's running linux and connecting via SAN to MSA2012fc's (have had good performance experience with our 2012fc connected to ESX cluster). Not sure whether I need to use serviceguard for clustering or perhaps can get by with some other cluster config? I am continuing to check specs and see if the overall design is supported.

Basically checking to see if anyone has worked with a config of this nature? Perhaps I need to move to an EVA4k for the storage solution.

Thanks,
Coburn

Hi,
for the RAC there are 2 alternatives:
a) HP Service guard
b) HP Polyserve cluster
