Hi,
the permanent CommandView/BusinessCopy/ContinuousAccess licenses are the same for the 7.x and 8.x. The Instant-On license in CV 8.0 is 60 days in comparison to the CV 7.x 180 days.
Check also the Command view EVA software suite
quick specs for the licensing:
http://h18006.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/12239_na/12239_na.pdf
You either need to find the original license's or put them out of Command View 7.

Under Server options, go to Import/Export Licenses. Click the Export button and save them to a file.

Import them into Command View 8.

Steven

I have the same trouble, but my old CV is 6.0. So, it seems I cannot just export licenses. What should I do in my case?
