Disk array/storage commands

Hi masters,

Can anyone provide me the commands list or some document for Disk array/storage commands for HP-UX. e.g. somewhere we use armdsp -i, armdsp -a or somewhere it is arraydisp etc.

Document, which tells the difference that where we can use what and having some good commands also.

It would be a great help....

Each device class has its own set of commands or even an own software bundle.

For example, the VA7xxx family is using commandview sdm.

What type of arrays do you have?

Actually, i am having different types of arrays :- HP storage, XP disk array, Virtual Disk Array.

so, plz help the best way you can to gather the information to work on them by using the relevant commands.

Different arrays are managed very different ways.

XP = commandview XP
EVA = commandview EVA
VA = commandview SDM

Most of them are not running on HP-UX.

To get some information, there are again different tools, e.g. evainfo for EVA and xpinfo for XP.
