Please suggest as we need to deploy storage of 3.4PB storage solution, 16 servers will be looking for those drives how can we initiate and what brain storming do we need to initiate.

Hi,
it could be best based on XP24k:
http://h18006.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/12711_div/12711_div.pdf
max for 1 piece with 4 DKU racks
max. usable is 851TB
so you need 5 pieces of maximum configured XP24000

OR

(the comming EVA 8400 but the max of 324TBs raw space is with FATA (324x1TB FATA disks), with FC disks the current max is 324x450GB 14.9TB) so here you then need 11xEVA8400 with FATA drives or approximately 24xEVA8400 with FC drives :-))

OR
the reasonable combination of the XP24k e.g. for mission critical data and EVA8400 for other data

Whilst it's fun to come up with these kkinds of solutions, I'm not sure a public forum is the best place to hammer this out - for that amount of storage I can't imagine why you'd roll your own design... I'm pretty sure you'll be able to persuade a local HP presales technical consultant to come up with a design for you - these guys do this all the time and likely know the capabilities of the storage systems a lot better than you will. I'd suggest you contact your local HP office (or reseller) for assistance on this.

HTH

Duncan

Do you need it for file servers either NFS or CIFS.. Polyseve cannnot do it in a single cluster file system but multiple are possible and it does not matter what disk arrays it uses.

It is supported on linux and windows
