During resynchronization of MirrorClones is the IO of the source VD effected. I want to say that during resynchronization will the IO by OS on the source VD degrade.
In our senario as soon as the resynchronization started the archive files of the oracle database which were taking 1 mins to apply started taking around 4-5 mins.
Source VDs are used as filesystems for the oracle database (datafiles and indexes).
Mirrorclones are done for data minig and other R&D.

How often do you perform the clone? Always the clone will make an impact on the source LUN.

You said "applying the archive"; Did you mean to a standby database not the PROD itself? if that is the case are u sure the archive VDs are part of clone?

what kind of impact.......i mean i want to knw how the process of cloning happens and how can it impact the os IO
