Once you login to the SMU, On the left side you find a section "Manage" it is not a tab as such.

Once you click on manage it will prompt you for user name & password, if you have logged in as monitor user

Hope this helps

Hi Rene,

how to backup the configuration of a MSA2000--> you can controller A with the ip address 10.0.0.2 and controller B with 10.0.0.3. The subnetmask is 255.255.255.0. You can connect the controller with a serial connection and the parameters 115200 baud, 8 data bits, no parity, 1 stop bit and no flow control. After connecting to the serial CLI you can execute the command: show_tech_support

The output can saved as the backup of MSA configuration.

Rgds-Kranti

Hi All,

The first reply is for MSA2000 G1 and "show tech_support" is for MSA1x00.

Now, for the G2, i couldnt find any easy command as for the G1. So insead i would recommend saving output from CLI.
Just telnet in to one of the controllers and save the output recommended here:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?objectID=c01797449〈=en&cc=us&taskId=101&prodSeriesId=3687115&prodTypeId=12169

Best regards,
Johnny
