      <title>SATA disk not recognized on MSA20</title>

      <description>We have got an MSA20 array with (unfortunately) non-HP SATA disks (500GB Seagate 7200.10s) attached. A disk failure has occurred and we tried to replace the disk with a new one.  However the new unit is not being recognized by the MSA1000.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Any ideas?&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Thanks for pointing out that issue.&lt;BR /&gt;However it seems to me that our problem is unrelated (12x500GB here; no limitation due to FW). Am I wrong about it?&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>A firmware update to the controller and shelves resolved our issues with new disks (HP or OEM).</description>
