Hello all, I am looking to see if there is a firmware upgrade or something to the Mylex RAID controller card that is included with the LX Pro 6/200 system. It will only initialize up to 4GB hot swattable drives, I have drived several sets of 9GB drives and it will never complete the initialization process. Any help?

Thanks,
Troy

It is better to use HP firmware (if possible). Try to search HP site for it. This controller is known as HPDA or HPDAC (hp disk array conntoler). If, for any reason you upgrade this controller with mylex firmware use utility hpset which writes HP signature in controller and it will be again recognized as HP OEM. This utility can be found on netserver navigator.
