    <description>If the disk is completly failed, it will show no details on the "disk drive" tab. You'll have to see the physical label on the disk, or have a table done previously to know what kind of disk was on that bay.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If the disk is having errors or has lost one loop, the model is shown on "disk drive" tab.</description>

      <description>When command view EVA finds a failed disk. Does it show you part number of the failed disk? If it does where do you look this up?</description>

      <description>Part numbers you can check out on partsurfer.hp.com&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;However, usually the events generated via webes contain a model number of the disk.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;These can be looked up on &lt;A href="http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?objectID=c00305257" target="_blank"&gt;http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?objectID=c00305257&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;and then correlated with a spare part number.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Don't forget to give points to posts :)</description>
