      <description>Actually, what you will need to do is...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;1. Get upgrade licenses for your EVA.  Right now you have CV6 licenses.  You need CV7+ licenses.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;2. Un-install Command View 6.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;3. Reboot&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;4. Install Command View 9.1&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;There is no "upgrade".  It is a rip and replace.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You can use CV9.1 for 60 days without getting licenses, but after that you will be limited as to what you can actually manage.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Steven</description>

      <description>No, you can't go directly from CV EVA 6 to 9 version. CV EVA 8 doesn't support upgrade from  previous versions and one can upgrade from CV EVA 8 to 9.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You probably need to remove CV EVA 6, reboot the management server and then fresh install the CV EVA 9.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You may want to refer the CV EVA release notes. Also with update to CV EVA requires compatible version of EVA and disk drive firmware versions installed.</description>
