IIRC you can select the disk controller and run a certain tool from STM.

But better to use "amdsp" to get the status.

Hi Torsten

Thanks for that.I am just curious to know why the disks are not getting displayed in stm in this particular, since I am able to see them in other server with the same STM version.

Really?

I would assume the disks of an array are invisible to the OS (e.g. ioscan, stm, etc.), because they are "hidden" by the array controller. At least this is true for all arrays I know.

For exactly this reason there are special tools for all kind of arrays.

Try to get the array ID from

# amdsp -i

then do

# amdsp -d <ARRAY-ID>

or better

# amdsp -a <ARRAY-ID></ARRAY-ID></ARRAY-ID>

Hi

This is not unusual. (* Right Torsten? :-) *)

Run 'rmsf -H' on the HW path to clear out the ioconfig file and the kernel and the /dev directory.

You probably have the same errors showing up under /etc/opt/resmon/logs.
