EVA8000_Host_Speed.

We have EVA8000 with 19 Encloser (Disk, Controller).
But the Host Port speed set as 2GB in both the side EVA Host port side and Brocade Switch (Brocade 48000). which will support up to 4 GB.
can any one tell me my EVA 8000 will support 4GB Host port..

I suppose you might need 4GB sfps as well.

It depends on the model. The first-generation EVA8000 was limited to 2 GigaBit.

Its HSV210 only.

Did you look at the front bezel?
If it says HSV210, then it is 2 GigaBit.

Yes, by the serial number of the controller module (Psomething)

Yes it starts with P and I got the information form Controller Properties.

Will it support 4GB Pls confirm..

Sorry, "8398" it is the first-generation EVA-8000 controller, part number 390855-001, which is limited to 2 GigaBit/sec.
