XP1024 Disk Drive Replacement

Hi Guru's,

When you replace a disk drive on either the XP1024 or XP12000, say in the event of a drive error occuring, are there any codes that need to be entered or is it just a straight-forward case of swapping over the drive?

don't rip the disk out. better don't touch the xp. let hp do the swap.

Not much choice i'm afraid, there is a disk error and we need to replace! Hopefully it is a straight forward hot-swap but if it asks us for some form of code (drive lock code?) then we may have a problem.

Cheeky as it may be, I really need guidance from HP or HP knowledgeable people without having HP service.
