Hi.
I will have to replace controller enclosure with a new enclosure. Will all data on the disks show under new controllers (with the same fw)? Will host presentation be also transferes?
I’m not sure if metadata on disk contains all the necessary information to transfer disk shelfs between two controller shelfs
Daniel:
All metadata is on the disks, so if you need to replace both controllers, you don't lose any bit of data. Now it's recommended that an HP tech must do the work
