Hi,

I have the following question:

I installed a MSA2012i with 2 controllers and 2 ports iSCSI in each controller, I have a Blade with 4 NICs: 2 Multifunctions and 2 without Multifunction with RHEL 5.4.

In the Linux I installed a iSCSI tool and an Device Mapper for HP StorageWorks, each iSCSI port in the MSA2012i have a IP but when I list the sd devices in the Linux only see 2 for example sda y sdb and when run the Multipath command only see two paths for the disk.

This result is correct because I thing that I must see a 4 paths, 1 path for each port of the MSA2012i.

Thanks for your help.

Greetings,
Chris.

2012/2212 series present LUN only from active paths. hence, you will see only 2 paths & not 4. it is recommended to use device mapper & HP provided template for OS usage
