    <description>Levelling is a background task and has low priority. It can finish faster when you have idle time for EVA (ie. with no host accessing EVA). However you need not worry at all about levelling as it is done only to distribute the load to all disks in DG and has no relation to the redundancy of the data.</description>

      <description>Hi all,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;How long should it take for releveling a diskgroup after adding a new disk?&lt;BR /&gt;I've added a 146 GB FC disk to a DG with 26 disks of the same type in a EVA 4100.&lt;BR /&gt;Looking at the progress it will take aprox. 8 hrs to complete...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;thx in advance</description>

      <description>Sounds about right. Seems to depend on how much free space you have available on your existing disks. The less you have the longer it takes in my experience.</description>
