    <description>thanks alot carlose.&lt;BR /&gt;the other question is not in this box. it is diff box and it is not connected to Disk Array.It is just connected to a box of JBODs. Since i am not facing any bottleneck in the disk side (sar -d shows a max of 10% busy on one disk).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;thanks and rgds&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hisham</description>

      <description>&lt;BR /&gt;hi Gurus,&lt;BR /&gt;can any one help how to configure " auto trespass" in model 20 disk array.This is basically used for creating alternate link to VGs , so that in case of failure of one of the SP (Storage Processor) it will automatically switch to next path.actually i forgot the way. it was something like give Ctrl+Shift p in the grid menu in order to get the seaventh option.&lt;BR /&gt;any help will be appretiated&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;TIA &lt;BR /&gt;hba</description>

      <description>Not correct.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The correct secuence is &lt;CNTRL&gt;P FE ( no whitespace)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;FE must by typed in Caps.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;To descativate &lt;CNTRL&gt;P USER&lt;/CNTRL&gt;&lt;/CNTRL&gt;</description>

      <description>Docs say :&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;option 5 -&amp;gt; change parameters&lt;BR /&gt;     3 change SP parameters.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have see another question regarding i/O performance from you. Try to assing some LU`s to SP A and others to SP B.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Then once you have stablised alternate links in your box ( after ioscan and insf, and vtgextend) , use vgreduce vg /dsk/.. and vgextend vg /dsk/.. to set the correct way for your SP`s for each disk.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Good luck&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
