    <description>Yes you can. When a hot-pluggable drive is inserted, all disk activity on the array is paused while the new drive is spinning up (usually 10 seconds or so).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Wait at least one minute before inserting the next disk.</description>

      <description>Hi all.&lt;BR /&gt;I have a MSA 1000 with 6 disks of 145 Gb raid5.&lt;BR /&gt;There are several empty slots to insert new disks.&lt;BR /&gt;Now I want to insert 4 new disks and create a new raid5.&lt;BR /&gt;Can I insert the new disks online ? Hot plug ?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks in advance.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Juanma.</description>

      <description>Furthermore, you can then configure the new array and create logical drives and present them to your server all while online (at least with a Windows Box you can).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Steven</description>
