Hello,
I have an ProLiant ML350 G4p with an smart array 641.
My question is:
If one hard drive on RAID, is failure or degradated, the system can send me an email with this notification??

Install HP SIM (it's for free, and delivered with each Proliant) and create event for such failure. You must have SMTP server.

Dear Andrzej,

Its obligatory to install an SQL Server/MSDE host to install this fuction. I want to install the minimal soft that i need to use.

Hi,

If you have Windows, and the Management Agents are installed, go to Start -> Programs -> Event Notifier Config, and follow the wizard's instructions.
You can use this if you just want a single server to send e-mail notifications.
