Problem seeing XP256 from Windows 2K

We have a XP256 on which we map luns to both Unix and NT systems. After mapping a new lun to a new NT system, the NT system sees the new lun, but doesn't know what size it is and con not write a signiture to the new lun. Other NT systems are working fine. I remapped the new lun to a Unix system and everything was fine there.
Has anyone seen this problem with the XP and NT?

I looked at the documentation on hpssxp and it looks like it is for the HP fiber channel interface. We are using Qlogic QLA2200 cards. Would the hpssxp fix still apply?

There can be many reasons for your problem that I can think of. Here's a few:

1. Check your host mode on the port. Be sure it's set for NT.
2. NT does not always like disparate LUNs (non-consecutive LUNs)
3. You cannot have UNIX and NT on the same port - you mentioned mapping the LUN to a UNIX host.
4. Check your FC topology is correct

If your problem isn't one of these, post some more detailed information... such as your exact config (are you using a FC switch? what's your port mode? What's your topology? What LUNs are on the port, and what are they assigned to? Which LUN is the problem?)

Also post what you've already done to try to correct the problem.
